Junior Cybersecurity Specialist (Remote)

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Synopsys, a leading provider of software security solutions. About the Role

• Work on designated projects independently or with minimal supervision, with opportunities for growth and development
• Receive training to perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and static source code analysis on web, mobile applications, and networks
• Research and enhance solution features, assist with applications and tools, and collaborate with consultants to develop scripts for automation

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented skills, with the ability to collaborate with project team members and take direction from project leads
• Strong desire and passion for working in InfoSec domains, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or a relevant field
• Basic understanding of networking and information security, with a strong foundation in core concepts
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and scripting languages like Python or Ruby
• Hands-on experience with J2EE/PHP/ASP.NET and mobile application development is a plus
• Relevant security industry certifications (CEH/OSCP) are an added advantage
