Remote Brewery Accounting Associate

In this role, you will support the day-to-day bookkeeping needs of our brewery clients, working closely with our expert team to drive success and growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable, managing banking transactions, and contributing to monthly close procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable in Bill.com and QuickBooks Online
• Manage banking transactions, including matching, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Contribute to monthly close procedures, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of our team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and other accounting software platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Direct experience in AR/AP, bookkeeping, and monthly reconciliation in a remote environment
• Sales or customer service experience
• Familiarity with platforms such as Ekos, Square, Toast, Gusto, Paychex, ADP, Eventbrite, and Stripe
• Experience with remote project management tools such as Podio, Trello, or Asana
