Customs Brokerage Representative III - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customs Brokerage Representative III to join our team remotely. As a key member of our customs brokerage team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing customs entries, communicating with clients and government agencies, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customs entries, including classification according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS) and participation in government agencies clearances (PGA), Code of Regulations, and Customs regulations.
• Interface with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers to forward freight to designated locations.
• Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, and resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues.
• Coordinate freight delivery to designated locations and scan entries into the imaging system meeting allotted and sensitive time requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis using various software packages and databases.
• Establish and maintain client relationships, and provide excellent customer service.
• Work a rotating weekend schedule on a department rotation basis and holiday schedule based on the needs of the operation and account requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working for a Customs Broker.
• Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accurate and rapid data entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Customers Broker License - Preferred.
