Instructor, OSHA Compliance (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Instructor, OSHA Compliance (Part-Time) to join our team. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and teaching concepts and strategies for a variety of courses related to OSHA compliance. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary range of $30.84 - $39.93 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and perform teaching-related activities
• Manage the classroom/laboratory and develop curriculum
• Assess student performance and advise students on academic issues
• Collaborate with advisory committee and attend departmental and institutional meetings
• Promote the education/training program/department and participate in efforts to recruit and retain students
• Maintain certification, continue professional development, and stay current in the field of OSHA compliance

Requirements:

• Must have a current OSHA Instructor Certification
• Must have a current First Aid/CPR Instructor Certification
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Experience in teaching and/or developing curriculum in a variety of classroom environments, including in-person and online
• Working knowledge of computers and software related to instructional area, including MS Office/Google Suite and learning management systems
