Senior UX Motion Designer (Remote)

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX Motion Designer to lead the motion design process from concept to delivery, collaborating with artists, UX designers, AV specialists, programmers, and engineers to create highly interactive and engaging user interfaces for our cross-platform features.

Job Summary:

As a Senior UX Motion Designer at Netflix, you will be responsible for developing UX and mobility concepts, working with partners to translate their feedback into software, and collaborating with engineering to improve implementation. You will lead the production of Netflix Design's first motion design series, focusing on user-centered design, state-based device interactions, screen transitions, and choreography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the motion design process from concept to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create highly interactive and engaging user interfaces
• Develop UX and mobility concepts, working with partners to translate their feedback into software
• Collaborate with engineering to improve implementation, focusing on user-centered design, state-based device interactions, screen transitions, and choreography
• Produce, connect, improve, and cultivate the poles and library of different needs, working with manufacturers, product creators, and AV specialists to understand new products and processes
• Communicate complex design concepts clearly and effectively, with a strong understanding of data resolution, type, and assistance

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in UX motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., design, human-computer interaction, computer science)
• Experience working with Figma, Figma, or other design tools to build assets, add animations, and create design systems
• Strong understanding of low-level CSS animations and high-complexity animations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new systems, tools, and functionality
