• This position is hybrid with some onsite work in Sacramento.

As a senior-level Cloud Architect, this role is responsible for translating business requirements and functional specifications into robust, scalable cloud-based solutions. The individual will play a key role in shaping the technical direction for developing integrated business and enterprise data product solutions, providing technical expertise to project teams, and ensuring that new and existing software solutions are strategically aligned and effectively developed. Act as a subject matter expert and provide consultation to project teams, ensuring the alignment of solutions with business and technical requirements. This role requires an experienced technical leader with deep knowledge of cloud architecture best practices and the ability to drive innovation in a rapidly evolving cloud environment. Job Description: EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 12 years of recent experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Advanced knowledge in formulating state-of-the-art enterprise strategic architecture framework plans. Advanced knowledge in the engineering, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of a wide range of server and storage platforms. Expert knowledge of visualization technologies. Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner. Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations. Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Skilled in developing documentation at a technical and user level. Pay Range is $77.70 to $124.32 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
