Job Summary:The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable/General Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our finance department, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, and supporting general accounting operations. This role is essential for maintaining financial integrity and contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounting processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • * Process and post accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, and adjustments.
  • * Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • * Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
  • * Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • * Assist with general ledger entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • * Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
  • * Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • * Assist with payroll processing and other accounting-related tasks as needed.
  • * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • * Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred).
  • * Proven experience in accounts receivable, general accounting, or a similar role.
  • * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
  • * Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • * Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • * Familiarity with accounting principles and best practices.
  • Experience:
  • * Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting roles.
  • * Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • * Prior experience in a corporate or fast-paced work environment is a plus.
  • Working Hours:
  • * Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • * Flexibility for occasional overtime or extended hours based on business needs.

  • * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • * Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • * Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • * Proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities.
