Digital Content Marketing Manager

Are you a creative and strategic digital storyteller with a passion for healthcare and nursing? NANDA International is seeking a Digital Content & Marketing Specialist to elevate our global presence and engage our diverse audience. In this vital role, you'll drive our social media strategy, create compelling content, and promote our key publications and initiatives to nurses, educators, and students worldwide. What You'll Do: Social Media & Engagement

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to boost brand awareness and engagement.
  • Manage and maintain a dynamic content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posts.
  • Actively engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages, and leveraging analytics to continuously refine our approach.

Content Creation & Brand Voice

  • Produce engaging digital content (including text, graphics, and short-form video) specifically tailored for nursing and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure all messaging is consistent with NANDA-I's mission, values, and brand voice.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and healthcare news to inform and inspire your content.

Publication & Marketing Support

  • Lead digital marketing efforts for our flagship publication, NANDA International Nursing Diagnoses: Definitions and Classification.
  • Collaborate with textbook editors to develop innovative and interactive promotional content (e.g., short videos, infographics, Q&A sessions).
  • Support the visibility and engagement of NANDA-I’s journal, *The International Journal of Nursing Knowledge*, through targeted social media campaigns and content promotion.

Blog & Newsletter Management

  • Create and/or edit informative and engaging blog posts on topics such as nursing diagnosis, research, member spotlights, and organizational news.
  • Coordinate and distribute regular newsletters to keep our members and partners informed.

Collaboration & Strategic Growth

  • Partner with leadership and committees to amplify key initiatives, events (like our biennial conferences), and new publications.
  • Identify and pursue new digital opportunities to expand NANDA-I's reach among students, educators, clinicians, and international audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Nursing, Health Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing professional social media accounts and creating health-related content.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of nursing practice, education, and professional issues.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, Buffer).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and communicate proactively in a virtual team environment.

Bonus Points For:

  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency (highly preferred).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and blogging platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • A nursing background or experience working with nursing organizations/associations.
  • A knack for translating complex nursing concepts into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences.
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a genuine passion for strengthening nursing's global voice.
