Senior IT Project Manager/Product Owner

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager/Product Owner for key internal and external initiatives. In this hybrid role, you will take full ownership of the project lifecycle and product delivery—from defining the scope and business goals to prioritizing the backlog, coordinating the cross-functional team, and delivering value iteratively. You will work closely with stakeholders, a dedicated Technical Business Analyst, and a cross-functional Agile team to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of digital products that serve our client’s needs. Responsibilities Project Management & Delivery · Own the end-to-end delivery of IT projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies · Define scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics collaboratively with stakeholders · Create and maintain project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and release schedules · Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and team syncs · Monitor and report on project progress, risks, dependencies, and issues Product Ownership · Translate business goals into a clear, prioritized product backlog · Own MVP definition and roadmap alignment with business stakeholders · Make trade-off decisions based on value, effort, and risk · Collaborate with the Technical BA for detailed story breakdowns and edge cases · Accept/reject deliverables based on definition of done Team & Stakeholder Management · Serve as a day-to-day team lead for developers, QA, and design · Manage team resources, performance tracking, and issue resolution Align frequently with senior stakeholders to manage expectations and provide visibility · Facilitate demos and feedback loops to ensure value-driven development The tools in your backpack: · Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management or IT service delivery · Proven experience delivering projects in Agile environments · Hands-on experience leading cross-functional development teams · Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and team dynamics · Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate with senior stakeholders · Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO or equivalent) · Project management certification · Experience with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Notion, Asana) Nice to Have · Experience in regulatory or compliance-heavy environments (e.g. GDPR) · Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD delivery models · Prior experience working with a Technical BA or systems analyst · Exposure to the Fintech sector and/or BPO sector Key Traits · Ownership mindset · Strategic thinking combined with delivery discipline · Strong communicator and facilitator · Organised & structured approach, pragmatic, value-driven decision maker · Team motivator and problem solver
