Head of Data Consultancy
We are seeking a visionary Head of Consultancy to lead our data engineering consultancy division. This is a critical role that will drive the growth and success of our consultancy services, leveraging our proprietary 5X platform to deliver exceptional value to our clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in data consultancy, capable of owning the PL, building client relationships, and fostering a high-performing team. As the Head of Consultancy, you will have the opportunity to drive significant revenue growth, enhance client satisfaction, and develop a world-class team of data engineers.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the consultancy team's Profit Loss (PL), ensuring financial targets are met through effective utilization and resource management.
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
- Collaborate closely with the revenue team to identify opportunities for upselling and expanding our consultancy services to new and existing clients.
- Elevate our consultancy offerings by integrating advanced AI and data application use cases, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Manage and optimize resources, including strategic hiring and development of top-tier data engineering talent.
- Mentor, coach, and develop data engineering leads and team members, fostering a culture of trust and high performance.
- Ensure seamless collaboration with sales, product, and other departments to align consultancy services with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in data consultancy, preferably from a leading consultancy firms.
- Proven ability to engage with and build relationships at the CXO level, aligning and defining project scopes with client strategic objectives.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing technical teams, particularly in data engineering.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Solid technical foundation in data engineering, AI, and data applications.
- Experience in managing PL, budgeting, and financial planning for a consultancy or business unit.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and functions.
