Senior Engagement Manager - VN

Responsibilities:·Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, statusreports and lead the team in developing a detailed project plan.·Review project plans to determine the time frame, costing, and the procedures foraccomplishing the projects.·Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of ITproject leadership.·Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architectureor infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.·Conduct timely project reviews to recommend any changes to project schedules, cost orresource requirements.·Document issues and risks that affect implementation.·Work with the technical team to ensure that the requirements gathered are realistic andimplementable.·Establish and maintain good business relationships with stakeholders to influence andachieve business goals.·Hold regular status update meetings with team.·Learn and be able to contribute and communicate improvements to the existing workingprocesses.Desired Skills:·Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to discussand advance complex policy concepts with diverse stakeholders at various levels.·Technical acumen and ability to represent to both technical and policy audiences.·Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment working on cutting-edgetechnology and security policy matters, where ambiguity is the rule rather than the exception.·Comfort working with a broad range of teams and diverse views and cultures, andexperience in driving collaboration and consensus.·Willingness to experiment and try new things, and to learn quickly from failure and/ormistakes.·Candidates with PMP or ITPM certifications are preferred.·Experience with Data Analytics / Data warehousing / Cloud Computing projects arepreferred.Qualifications:·6-10 years’ experience in project management.·Bachelor’s/University degreeAbout Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
