Global Project Management Office (PMO) Manager (m/f/d)

• You will build up a PTV global project management office with responsibilities on project governance & methodology, project reporting & monitoring, resource and capacity planning and project management support
• Together with the global Project Managers and your VP Professional Services you will implement standardized project approaches based on the experiences and best practices of our PTV implementation projects, creating and providing templates and tools to continuously improve PTV project and services governance.
• You will own and evolve a PM tool landscape – from selecting the right PM software to implementing and managing the PM software throughout the PTV Professional Services organization
• For all PTV projects and professional services and in cooperation with internal services you will create and manage comprehensive dashboards and KPI systems for project health, financial figures, and risk reporting to ensure best transparency on professional services and project performance
• In cooperation with the Professional Services heads, the global Project Managers and the VP Professional Services you will actively contribute to efficient and balanced resource planning of the consultants and project managers with a view to the profitability and skillset of the services and projects provided.
• You will actively support the project managers within specific projects always having a focused look on the project KPIs “in time”, “in quality” and “in budget”, as well as indicate needed change request processes
• You will play an active role in defining and elaborating legal templates for project management and professional services such as statement of works, services offerings and contracts in cooperation with Sales, Legal and your VP Professional Services
• And when things go wrong, you remain calm and solution-oriented relying on your professional project management background in software industry

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, business/geoinformatics, logistics, engineering or a comparable qualification plus relevant professional experience.
• You have experience in consulting and implementing software solutions that require explanation, ideally in software or logistics industry
• Extensive knowledge of project management, ideally with project management certifications (e.g. PMI, PMP, PRINCE2 or GPM/IPMA) with a minimum of 5 years in a PMO role or similar and first insights on managing global project portfolios
• Ideally you bring in experience in implementing PMO structures from the ground up or transforming or consolidating existing ones.
• You have excellent strategic stakeholder communication and management skills across cultures and levels
• Your heart beats for project management, KPIs, team and customer success, you are a pro-active communicator, outgoing, have a convincing appearance and are willing to pass on your knowledge.
• You work analytically, reliably, customer-oriented and are an open, eager to learn, agile, ernthusiastic and motivated team player.
• Due to the global role you’re fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
