Overview

We are seeking our new MFT Senior Services Consultant to join the Axway team!

As an MFT Senior Services Consultant at Axway, you will play a pivotal role in elevating customer experience through your adept expertise and exceptional leadership. Your focal responsibility will involve overseeing the seamless integration of Axway MFT software, guaranteeing the efficiency of implementations. The cornerstone of your role lies in addressing existing customer implementation requirements while nurturing robust relationships across functions. Rapid rapport-building, both internally and externally, will be paramount to your triumph in this capacity. You must exude self-motivation, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication and presentation prowess to navigate intricate scenarios and offer ingenious problem-solving resolutions.This individual will assume full accountability for deployment, support and service responsibilities spanning the customer lifecycle. This encompasses a spectrum of activities ranging from conceptualization, creation, orchestration, security, deployment, promotion, to vigilant monitoring of Axway products for our valued existing clients. Your dedicated contribution as a Senior Service Engineer- ll be a driving force in propelling the triumph of our solutions, ensuring our customers bask in unparalleled service and unwavering support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex Consultancy/Managed Services assignments.
  • Perform systems tuning and diagnostics on UNIX, LINUX and WINDOWS platforms as it relates to Axway products and Storage, Network, Database, and Firewall configurations.
  • Participate as a technical expert of several technologies or software packages in a complex project of software implementation or systems integration.
  • Manage client expectations and have the ability to ensure high satisfaction of the client and perform complex consultancy assignments.
  • Manage large to small projects comprised of complex tasks as assigned by project manager responsible for project completion.
  • Design and implement web based MFT multi-tier architectures and database management
  • Analyze and execute significant updates and product upgrades
  • Participate in on-call support rotation (1 week per month) for customer support needs outside of core business hours.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to influence and negotiate outside of a reporting relationship.
  • Needs to have a good ability to manage client expectations and have the ability to ensure high satisfaction of the client.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • A proactive service attitude that can look beyond a strict process/priority matrix

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 5 + years of hands-on technical experience with MFT software solutions
  • 7+ years of experience in software industry with functional and technical consulting experience in a wide range of business areas of supply chain management including system development, business intelligence, business processes and customer relations.
  • Experience with fortune 500 enterprise customer projects
  • A bachelor's degree, or relevant university degree, in Business, Engineering or Computer Science and graduate degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with UNIX. LINUX and Windows platforms.
  • Proficiency with shell and JAVA scripting
  • Proficiency with database systems (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL, and/or Sybase)
  • Proficiency with MFT, B2B and Monitoring solutions
  • Familiarity with network connectivity and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, MQ etc..)

Preferred Skills

  • AWS or Azure certification
  • Axway Secure Transport experience
  • Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell, Java)
