IT Manager

  Location: Based in Luxembourg

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ICT systems and security arrangement and ensure its technical documentation. 

  • Develop and implement strategic business continuity and ICT plans that align with our business goals, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.

  • Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets by building resilient and secure ICT systems, in compliance with the applicable laws, CSSF regulations and guidelines. Lead the response to any IT security incidents.

  • Oversee the operation of IT systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and comply with regulatory standards. This includes managing infrastructure, databases, and applications.

  • Develop and implement risk assessment procedures and arrangements, updating and evaluating their adequacy.

  • Lead IT projects, from conception through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.

  • Negotiate with and manage third-party vendors, ensuring the provision of high-quality services and products.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the CSSF.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Professional certifications as well as any trainings in IT management, cybersecurity are highly desirable.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Luxembourg regarding IT management, preferably in the financial services sector, with a strong understanding of electronic money and crypto asset sector.

  • Proven track record of managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg laws and CSSF regulations related to information, technology and communication including data protection.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a diverse IT team.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A critical thinker with a constructive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Fluent in English and French with any additional languages being a plus.
