To help our teams work together effectively, this role is fully remote but requires you to be located in Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential performance issues in the early stages of the development cycle and develop guidelines to address these issues.

  • Examine the software and IT systems to identify performance bottlenecks. Develop innovative solutions to constantly optimise systems for high performance.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software tools and automation scripts to streamline development and operational processes.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tools and automation technologies.

  • Automate testing, deployment, and other tasks related to software delivery.

  • Partner across engineering teams to provide solutions for org-wide programmes.

  • Mentor and level up the skills of your teammates by sharing your expertise through knowledge sharing sessions.

  • Participate in Agile software development including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, show and tell demo sessions.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software development and architecture of highly scaled applications focused on performance optimizations.

  • Experience in building infrastructure for performance monitoring of applications built on Windows using the Microsoft tech stack.

  • An expert in software performance management and having working experience of benchmarking tools like JMeter, Tricentis or Neoload etc.

  • Experience with hardware sizing and load-balancing to ensure high availability and performance.

  • Passion for tackling complex performance bottleneck challenges.

  • Ability to work through ambiguities and deliver systematic value increments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Experience with network load balancing and bandwidth optimisation.

  • Fluency in the Microsoft tech stack / languages (.Net, C#, MSSQL, etc.), DB schema, Stored procedures, Indexing etc. with the ability to review code.
