We need an English-fluent Sr Frontend Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive, and user-focused web applications.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams
• Ensure frontend performance and accessibility best practices
• Build and sustain frontend CI/CD workflows
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in and lead code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in frontend development using React
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centric web applications.
• Strong coding skills using a typed programming language.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Next, Remix).
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and asynchronousprogramming.
• Strong UX/UI design intuition and the ability to collaborate effectively with product and design teams.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Strong proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong proficiency with build tools (e.g., Webpack), and frontend testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Experience with server-side rendering and performance optimization techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) is also preferred.
• Previous experience in a leadership or ownership role for frontend applications is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices is desirable

Compensation

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $4,200 - $5,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
• This is a one-year project with the potential for extension, depending on performance and business needs.
• This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
• The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
