We are looking for a Senior MarTech Engineer with expertise in the architecture and implementation of complex marketing platforms to join our team and take ownership of high-impact projects that support growth and performance. Role Overview As a Senior MarTech Engineer, you will lead the architecture, development, and deployment of MarTech platforms using React, Gatsby, and AWS, with a focus on optimizing performance and integrating multiple data and analytics platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that support A/B testing, feature flagging, real-time monitoring, and customer data... management .The ideal candidate is an experienced technologist with a deep understanding of modern front-end development frameworks and a strong background in cloud infrastructure. You should be familiar with using LaunchDarkly for feature control, Sentry & Datadog for monitoring, and have a solid grasp of marketing analytics tools such as Perfanalytics or Freshpaint.io . Key Responsibilities • Architect MarTech Solutions: Design and implement MarTech architectures that leverage React and Gatsby hosted on AWS (e.g., S3) or Netlify, with Cloudflare as a CDN and security layer • Frontend Development: Build and optimize frontend applications using React and Gatsby, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability • Feature Control & A/B Testing: Implement feature flags and A/B testing strategies using LaunchDarkly to enable seamless experimentation and controlled rollout • Monitoring & Observability: Set up and maintain comprehensive monitoring using Sentry and Datadog to track application performance, errors, and user behaviour • Data Integration & Analytics: Integrate with marketing analytics and customer data platforms (CDPs) like Perfanalytics or Freshpaint.io, with a focus on server-side data flows to the platform endpoint • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee deployment and infrastructure configuration on AWS, including S3, CloudFront, and serverless functions, ensuring efficient and secure delivery of web applications • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, data science, and product teams to understand business needs and deliver technical solutions that enhance marketing and analytics capabilities • Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and platform stability while mentoring junior engineers on the team Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React, Gatsby, and cloud-based architectures. • Strong proficiency in React.js, with hands-on experience using Gatsby for static site generation and server-side rendering (SSR). • Proven experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (S3, CloudFront) or Netlify, with Cloudflare for CDN and security services.Familiarity with LaunchDarkly or other feature management tools for implementing feature flags, A/B testing, and gradual rollouts. • Experience with Sentry and Datadog for application monitoring, error tracking, and performance analysis. • Proficiency in integrating and using marketing analytics and customer data platforms (e.g., Perfanalytics, Freshpaint.io) to drive data-driven decisions. • Strong understanding of server-side integrations and cloud-based data flows. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: • Experience with AWS Lambda or other serverless frameworks for building server-side applications • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, caching strategies, and bundle • Experience with additional MarTech tools like Google Analytics, Segment, or similar CDPs. • Familiarity with web security best practices and SEO considerations in Gatsby applications Apply Job!
