Job Overview As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will: • Create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement tailored plans to meet each student’s unique learning needs. • Deliver Engaging Instruction: Provide interactive virtual lessons across a variety of subjects, adapting your approach to fit student requirements. • Track Student Progress: Monitor and assess student performance, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed. • Collaborate Effectively: Partner with families and fellow educators to foster a supportive learning environment. • Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate records of student progress and IEP developments. Qualifications • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. • Licensure: Valid Special Education license in Minnesota. • Experience: Previous experience working with elementary students with diverse learning needs is preferred. • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using technology for effective remote teaching.
