We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and AR/AP Assistant to support our small business team. This is a part-time, fully remote position that requires approximately 5-10 hours of work per week, with flexibility in scheduling. Responsibilities... • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. • Prepare financial statements and reports for CPA review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Assist with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and vendor management. • Collaborate with our CPA to provide them with the necessary documentation and information for tax preparation and financial reporting. • Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities. • Provide insights and recommendations to the owner based on periodic financial analysis. • Support the owner and other team members with financial tasks as needed. Requirements: • Must live local to OC, LA, IE to be able to meet periodically • Proven experience in bookkeeping and AR/AP functions, preferably in a small business setting. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and other relevant tools. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision. • Reliable internet connection and home office setup for remote work.
