Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Administrative Assistant - Time Keeper to join our remote team for an exciting new project based in Hemlock. This pivotal role will support our operations by ensuring precise timekeeping and payroll processing for our field personnel. Key Responsibilities • Accurately maintain weekly time logs for field staff and oversee the preparation and distribution of paychecks each week to ensure timely and correct payments. • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing basic formulas and performing data entry to verify hours worked. • Collaborate effectively with the payroll team to submit time logs, ensuring checks are printed and delivered punctually. • Manage the filing and organization of daily field reports, both in paper and digital formats, to facilitate tracking of project progress. • Communicate proactively with field personnel to resolve any discrepancies in time logs swiftly and accurately. Required Skills • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with outstanding organizational capabilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data entry skills. • Strong communication skills necessary for effective interaction with payroll and field personnel. • Capability to manage both physical paperwork and digital record-keeping efficiently. • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to accuracy. Qualifications • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. • Previous experience in clerical support or payroll processing is preferred.
