Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and committed educators who excel in a digital teaching environment for a full-time remote teaching role. Key Responsibilities • Deliver core subject instruction to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a fully remote virtual classroom. • Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with an approximate commitment of 37.5 hours per week. • Begin immediately, with the position continuing until the end of the 2024-2025 academic year, with a strong potential for renewal in the 2025-2026 school year. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. • A valid West Virginia Teaching Certification or eligibility for certification is essential. • Demonstrated experience in teaching general education within a K-12 framework. Experience in virtual teaching is advantageous. • Must be able to secure professional liability insurance upon receiving an offer. • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms such as Zoom or Google Classroom is necessary. • Strong organizational and communication skills are required. • Ability to foster positive relationships with students and cultivate a dynamic virtual classroom atmosphere. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to various teaching scenarios. • Technological proficiency in using educational software and tools. • A commitment to supporting students in their academic and personal growth.
