Positions in this function are responsible for all related aspects of claim system processes and claim business rules. Includes claims systems utilization, capacity analyses/planning and reporting. Includes claims-related business and systems analysis. Ensures data integrity, data security and process optimization. This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. We offer 3 - 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: • Claims related and business system analysis • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements. • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems. • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses. • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks. • Translates concepts into practice. • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues. • Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others. • Acts as a resource for others with less experience You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma / GED • Must be 18 years of age OR older • 4+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties • 2+ years of experience in claims • 1+ years of experience in management • 1+ years of experience in project coordinator • Moderate Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications • Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product • Ability to work between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST Telecommuting Requirements: • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C., Maryland Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
