Job Summary: The smooth running of the business at AutoZone requires Forklift Operators to proficiently use technical equipment to handle merchandise in the warehouse. The task involves managing the storage and retrieval of stock, which is instrumental in supporting the company's operations... Responsibilities: • Manipulate forklifts to transport materials and products to and from designated zones within the storage facility. • Tactfully transfer goods from transport vehicles with finesse and safety in mind. • Establish a routine for checking the equipment every day, which includes activities like re-energizing the forklift's battery and oiling the machines to maintain their efficient operation. • Organize products within the warehouse systematically to enhance inventory management. • Leverage RFID scanning devices to monitor changes in inventory and maintain precise records of stock levels. • Prioritizing safety requires the strict implementation of the safety regulations and standards, which should be monitored continuously and reviewed regularly. Qualifications: • Established competence in the safe and efficient use of forklifts. • Being able to convey ideas, thoughts and feelings in a clear and concise manner demonstrates a high level of professionalism and competence. • Precision and familiarity with industrial equipment is a must. • Endorsement of aptitude in the operation of forklifts through verified certification. • Meeting the requirement of secondary education or its equal is compulsory. • Competency to deliver results in a high-intensity and fast-paced environment.
