Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20 - $29OverviewJob Title: Bookkeeper (Fully Remote - QuickBooks Online Experienced)Location: Fort Worth, Texas (Fully Remote - US Only)Hours: 40 hours/week.Pay: $20-29/hour depending on experience, plus production/billable hour bonuses after a 90-day probationary period.Solvency Now Bookkeeping, Inc. is an innovative startup with a clear path for growth. We are looking for a committed bookkeeper who can contribute at our current size and grow with us. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work either from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM based on your time zone. A designated quiet office space is required.While the primary role is Bookkeeper, experience with QuickBooks Online is compulsory for this position. Additional experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant is a plus and will be considered an added advantage.The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for recording and classifying financial transactions accurately. You will reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and loans, and review each client's records for accuracy while correcting any errors. QuickBooks Online proficiency is essential for success in this role.You will manage a portfolio of 10-20 clients, requiring strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and switch tasks as necessary. Responsibilities may also include monitoring loans, budgeting, and payroll support to ensure the financial health of our clients.Essential Duties:Conducting bank account and credit card reconciliations.Performing bookkeeping reviews.Tracking and paying bills/loans.Collecting and managing invoices.Filing 1099 forms.Calculating and collecting sales tax.Handling payroll filing and reporting.Maintaining financial transaction spreadsheets.Submitting detailed daily reports to your supervisor.Keeping accurate time logs for each client.Using internal software to document completed client work.Performing other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education & Training:High school diploma or equivalent.At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is compulsory.1-3 years of bookkeeping experience with multiple small businesses.(Bonus) Experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant is a plus but not required.In-house training as necessary.Skills:Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational and recordkeeping abilities.Capacity to manage stress from deadlines and workload.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must.Punctuality in job performance.Abstinence from mind or mood-altering substances.Flexibility to work varied hours.Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.Located in the U.S. with strong English language skills.Hiring Process:Complete the application form for Solvency Now Bookkeeping, Inc.Qualified candidates will receive an IQ and typing assessment.An initial Zoom interview will be scheduled for successful applicants.Candidates will complete a QBO assessment with mock bookkeeping tasks.Those who pass will have a final interview with Maya, the CEO.Working Conditions:This role may require evening and weekend work, as well as handling challenging clients.Physical Requirements:You must possess a functional computer that meets industry standards, high-speed internet, dual monitors, and proof of antivirus software. A webcam and audio setup are required for effective communication in Zoom meetings.You must be able to work at a computer for 8 hours a day and occasionally longer, including data entry tasks.
