Day to day as a Route Driver As a new Route Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you can expect an exhilarating routine that keeps you on your toes! Your day will kick off early, as you prepare your delivery truck, ensuring it's stocked with our refreshing products and ready to hit the road. Each day from Monday to Friday brings a variety of delivery stops, allowing you to engage with customers and showcase your exceptional service skills. You'll navigate through dynamic routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and efficiency. As you build relationships with our valued clients, you'll also stay problem-solving focused, addressing any challenges that arise with a positive attitude. What you need to be successful To excel as a Route Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll need a unique blend of skills and qualifications. Your keen understanding of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques will keep you and your cargo safe while navigating various routes. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: • Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License. • Satisfactory completion of Motor Vehicle Check required according to the Vehicle Safety Policy. • Must have a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving. • Requires written and organization skills to complete paperwork in a decipherable manner. • Requires strong communication skills. • Requires basic math skills for invoicing.
