Backed by leading VCs, this fast-growing company is assembling a high-caliber engineering team to build data-rich, scalable systems for startup discovery and evaluation.What You Will DoAs a Software Engineer on the Flow team, you will:Build and scale both backend and frontend systems (approximately 60% backend, 40% frontend).Work on a modern tech stack including Python, GraphQL, React, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and GCP.Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and customers to deliver intuitive and performant features.Design and implement systems that handle large-scale data processing and visualization.Write highly observable and maintainable code with a focus on quality, scalability, and performance.Regularly engage with users to deeply understand their workflows and continuously iterate on product experience.Ideal Candidate Background1–4 years of experience developing scalable software solutions; exceptional interns or builders with relevant projects are encouraged to apply.Experience at high-growth startups or top-tier tech companies (e.g. Stripe, Meta, Google).Exposure to web applications that manage large and complex datasets.Demonstrated ability to ship quickly and iterate in an agile startup environment.Strong understanding of frontend technologies and UX/UI fundamentals.Proficiency in Python and React; experience designing GraphQL APIs is a plus.Familiarity with modern dev tools and AI-enhanced coding assistants like Cursor.Holds a CS degree from a top-tier university (e.g., Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley) or equivalent hands-on experience.PreferredStartup experience or demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset.Experience working on or integrating CRM-style platforms (e.g., Airtable, Notion).Contributions to open source projects, technical blogging, or side projects showcasing passion for engineering.Comfortable working directly with customers to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.Compensation and BenefitsBase Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 (flexible depending on experience)Competitive Equity (top decile for stage)Visa Sponsorship: H1B supportedHybrid Schedule: 3 days/week in NYC officeOpportunity to work on impactful products used by top investorsFast-paced and mission-driven culture with high visibility and ownership Apply for the job now!
