Cloud Solutions Architect- 100% Remote/ Microsoft/Azure- Contract to Hire)

Optomi, in partnership with a major client, is seeking an experienced Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect to join their team. This person will work a remote role on a contract-to-hire model. This person will still be very hands on in the environment with troubleshooting, configurations, and projects, in addition to new design and architecture build.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure solutions in Microsoft's security stack and Azure cloud
• Install Purview and DLP measures
• Utilize Intune for mobile device management and Entra ID, SSO, and MFA for Identity and Access Management
• Configure and architect Microsoft Defender for cloud applications and endpoints
• Utilize other various services in Azure- Purview, Sentinel, etc.
• Provide oversight and support for overall IT infrastructure and department

• Significant Microsoft security stack and Azure experience- Purview, DLP, Intune, Entra ID, Defender, AVD, SSO/MFA
• Experience building and implementing new cloud architecture and leading cloud migrations- AWS to Azure, GCP to Azure, etc.
• Extensive engineering experience with Microsoft tools and ability to still be very hands-on
• Experience across IT infrastructure and working in a small environment with large projects
• Experience with some design build of cloud environments and implementing security measures and best practices
• Ability to communicate across the business with various departments and stakeholders
