#100924: Medical Biller / Non-Profit / Hybrid in Rochester!

We are seeking an experienced medical biller to join a local non-profit organization that serves families and communities across the Greater Rochester area. This hybrid position allows you to work from home with occasional on-site collaboration – just for orientation and once a week thereafter. All necessary computer equipment will be provided! In the day-to-day, your responsibilities will include: submitting claims to insurance companies requesting authorizations following up on claims as needed processing payments, refunds, and denials investigating denied claims other duties as assigned Days/Hours: Full time, a 35-40 hour work week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8AM-5PM. Salary: $21-22/hr, depending on experience. Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance with HSA and FSA; retirement plan; PTO, vacation pay, and holiday pay! Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a medical biller or accounts receivable specialist An associate degree in business administration, accounting, or medical billing and coding is required (greater years of experience will be considered in lieu of education).
