Job Description: Inside Counter Sales, Customer Service & Warehouse AssociateLocation: Valdosta, GA Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PMPosition Summary: Jones Welding and Industrial Supplies, Inc. is seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team at our Valdosta location. This position combines counter sales, customer service, and warehouse responsibilities, offering an opportunity to engage directly with customers while supporting daily operations. If you are a proactive team player with a customer-first mindset and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Counter Sales & Customer Service: Assist customers at the counter with product inquiries, purchases, and technical support. Answer phones promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and addressing customer needs. Process sales transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service.Warehouse Duties: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and physical organization. Operate a forklift to load/unload deliveries and move materials within the warehouse. Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well-organized.General Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate to appropriate personnel when necessary. Participate in product training and stay informed about industry trends and offerings. Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and company goals.Qualifications: Prior welding knowledge is a significant advantage. Forklift experience. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency for order processing and inventory management.
