Web Developer
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Web Developer in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting web-based SaaS solutions using Microsoft .Net technologies. The position requires an individual who can excel in a team environment and who has the ability to think broadly about the multi-tiered architecture including database, middle tier, presentation, and integration/service layers. Responsibilities: Design and develop data architecture, data definition, and data manipulation structures in SQL Server Design and develop components using C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET Web API, MVC, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript while adhering to best practices and using appropriate tools Implement all aspects of development, including database, presentation, middle tier, and system interfaces Generate supporting unit tests as well as system test specifications and implementations Maintain, modify, and improve existing applications Recognize broad solution needs based on trends/root causes and recommend solutions Collaborate daily with the rest of the Agile delivery team and product owner Gather and write technical requirements for complex stories and features Develop system and maintenance documentation Issue deployment requests, and work with QA and Software Change Management teams during the release process Coordinate with the offshore development team, perform code & design reviews, and participate in standups. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Web Developer role or a related field Proficiency in Agile methodologies Extensive experience with .NET framework Strong knowledge of SQL for database management Understanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Full SDLC Proficiency in JavaScript for front-end development Experience with Content Management System (CMS) for website management Strong understanding of CSS for website styling Proficiency in HTML for website structure Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain websites Experience in Web Development field is essential Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.?
