Store Team Member
About the position The Store Team Member at Tractor Supply Co is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting sales initiatives and performing various tasks throughout the store. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset to meet the needs of customers and the business effectively. Responsibilities ? Maintain regular and predictable attendance. , ? Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs. , ? Support selling initiatives by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and asking for the sale. , ? Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures. , ? Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight processes. , ? Complete Plan-o-gram procedures including merchandising, sets, and resets. , ? Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties. , ? Execute price changes and markdowns. , ? Operate forklift and cardboard baler. , ? Assist customers with loading purchases. , ? Complete all documentation associated with job duties. Requirements ? No experience required, but retail experience and/or knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred. , ? A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. , ? Ability to read, write, and count accurately. , ? Strong communication and problem-solving skills. , ? Basic computer skills. , ? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict. Nice-to-haves ? Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding.
