Design and develop high-quality software solutions for CSX's products and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and implement product features. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Continuously improve and optimize existing software systems to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and proactively suggest new tools and techniques to improve the software development process. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues, and provide timely resolutions. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support to help them grow and improve. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality code standards. Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software systems.
