About the position As an Electrician Helper with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you will play a crucial role in supporting our electrical contractor on a student housing remodel project located in Tallahassee, FL. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working alongside seasoned professionals. You will be involved in various tasks that are essential to the successful completion of the project, ensuring that all electrical installations meet the required specifications and safety standards. In this role, you will assist electricians in pulling wires, cables, and conduits, which are fundamental tasks in any electrical installation. You will also aid in the installation of switches, outlets, light fixtures, and other electrical components, contributing to the overall functionality and safety of the electrical systems being installed. Additionally, you will assist with the assembly and installation of electrical panels and junction boxes, which are critical components in managing electrical distribution. Your responsibilities will also include performing basic electrical measurements and testing under supervision, which will help you develop your skills and understanding of electrical systems. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is essential, as it promotes safety and efficiency on the job site.
