Contracted FedEx Gound Delivery Driver
Driver (Independent Contractor) Elite Delivery Corporation is a growing company in Lewisberry, PA. We are looking for experienced drivers to join our Family. Our drivers transport and deliver FedEx Ground Packages thru out the city of York and surrounding areas, while delivering the best customer service. Responsibilities ? You will be tasked with delivering packages to multiple businesses and residential locations. You will average 125-175 deliveries a day. ? Safely drive and operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations. ? Follow Department of Transportation (US DOT) guidelines to ensure safe driving. ? Perform pre-trip inspection and ensure vehicle is in good repair. ? Communicate regularly with customers to ensure excellent service. ? Follow routes and time schedule to complete assigned work tasks. ? Comply with all applicable federal and state laws (including safety regulations) as well as company policies. ? Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications ? Proven experience as a driver or relevant position is a plus. ? Basic understanding of driving laws and procedures. ? Excellent knowledge of handheld scanner ? Excellent communication and people skills. ? Must be able to pass background check and drug screening. ? Driver's license and DOT Physical required. ? Pay starts at $165 a day and goes up based on experience and work load. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal Pay: $825.00 - $1,340.00 per week Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: ?
