Strong understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements ? Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and working with Route Managers ? Ability to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles Responsibilities ? Operate vehicle in accordance with all safety and legal requirements ? Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and note any issues ? Report unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch ? Collaborate with Route Managers to enhance route efficiencies ? Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and customer locations ? Complete all scheduled duties assigned by Route Manager or Dispatch ? Submit customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed ? Communicate effectively with customers and the team Qualifications ? No prior work experience required ? Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply ? Valid Commercial Driver?s License B (CDL) required ?
