Assistant House Managers

Florida Studio Theatre, a professional LORT D regional Theatre with five active theatre spaces, located in downtown Sarasota, FL is seeking a Part Time Assistant House Manager to provide excellent customer service to theatre. This position will serve as a House Manager for all 5 of our theatre spaces. This is a fast-paced position. Candidates must have good communication skills with a positive, friendly, and outgoing personality. Must be prompt, reliable, and detail oriented. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. The amount of hours available is variable week to week depending on the needs of the theatre. Responsibilities include: ?Welcoming patrons and ensuring an excellent and safe patron experience while visiting one of our 5 theatres. ?Assist with patron relations and resolving issues promptly. ?Oversee and train the events ushers ?Complete and send nightly reports and reconciling tickets for the performances ?Maintaining a clean and organized theatre. ?Communicate with other nightly managers including Stage Managers, Box Office, and restaurant to ensure the smooth and efficient nightly operations. ?Maintain familiarity with subscription and single ticket marketing initiatives and Florida Studio Theatre events. ?Keep up a professional appearance in dress and attitude and have a general appreciation for and understanding of live theatre. ?Assist Concessions at night on an as needed basis. ?Ability to stand for an extended period and ability to lift up to 25 pounds Job Types: Part-time Salary: $18-$20 per hour Apply Job!
