Position Description The Chassis and Aerial Order Manager will have responsibility for: • Acquisition and management of all chassis used for mounting of RRNA's truck mount aerial products including managing third party modifications of the chassis, management of chassis logistics from shipment of factory to modification shops, and shipment to RRNA in Texas or to our aerial suppliers. • Acquisition and management of aerials from our suppliers. • Management of customer orders for truck mounted products from receipt of order until customer acceptance. This includes supplier and customer communications as needed during the process. • Management of final vehicle manufacturer NHTSA compliance including documentation and creation of final vehicle manufacturer labelling for completed units. Desired Experience • Specifying and purchasing class 3 to class 8 truck chassis. • Truck Body builder experience preferably with manufactures or distributors of truck mounted aerials, concrete pumps, or cranes. • Working with OEMs and aftermarket modification companies to build custom truck configurations to meet specific requirements. • Knowledge of overweight truck permitting needs on a state by state basis. • Working with internal engineering departments to configure chassis for mounting of aerial work platforms.

Responsibilities

Chassis Management • Manages the truck acquisition process from suppliers as needed to meet the needs of our truck mounted aerial production process. • Manages/assists with needed truck specification configuration changes with OEMs. • Manages chassis modification process and acquisition of need components for in house and 3rd party shops. • Manages logistics of all chassis movements from departure from OEM factory to intermediate and final destination in the US and internationally to Ruthmann facilities. • Ensure all Government and company required chassis records are maintained including warranty registrations and commencement with truck OEM and aerial suppliers. • Create and manage NHTSA Final Manufacturer documentation including vehicle stickers for each unit produced. Customer and Supplier Order Management • Submission of orders to external and internal suppliers in the US and Europe. • Manage orders from suppliers from PO submittal to warranty documents. • Manage customer orders from order receipt including all paperwork through delivery acceptance and warranty registration.
