Sr. System Administrator

Compensation: $110K - $130K + 20% Bonus (base salary flexible) Location: Midland, TX, fully onsite with half-day Fridays Position: Senior System Administrator Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior System Administrator to join their team! This key role is responsible for supporting all office and data center environments, focusing on maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure. Working closely with both the infrastructure and applications teams, this position will tackle exciting projects involving cloud migration, disaster recovery planning, and environment scaling to meet organizational growth. This opportunity comes as the company continues to expand, providing the perfect fit for a high-caliber professional looking to make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities: • Support server infrastructure implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. • Manage a primarily Windows environment with a strong focus on Azure and Intune management. • Handle daily system administration, including server management, Active Directory, and security. • Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to support project needs. • Document procedural improvements and contribute to disaster recovery and backup strategies. Required Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • 10+ years of experience in system administration, including extensive work in Windows environments. • Experience with virtualization (VMware), Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting. • Familiarity with Azure, Intune, and managing a mixed IT infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of networking basics and TCP/IP troubleshooting.

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience: • Knowledge of SCADA systems and compartmentalization within IT infrastructure. • Exposure to the Purdue Model, particularly in operational technology (OT) environments. • Some experience with Linux, especially in hybrid environments.
