Business Intelligence Analyst - Austin, TX

Our enterprise-level client in Austin, TX, has an immediate need to add a Business Intelligence Analyst to the team. Please see below for full details-- Job Notes: --3-6+ month contract / extendable and perm possible with good performance. --Onsite in Austin, TX --Drug & Background required. Pay Rate = $39-41 w2 per hour Responsibilities: • Analyze and evaluate IT service management processes, including Capacity, Availability, Event Management, Knowledge Management, Refresh, and Currency, to identify areas for improvement. • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop strategies to enhance service delivery. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to recommend process improvements. • Review Data from multiple sources to identify trends for improvement opportunities. • Develop and implement best practices for IT service management to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and IT service management. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role. • Strong knowledge of IT service management processes, including Capacity, Availability, Event Management, Knowledge Management, Refresh, and Currency. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications: • ITIL Foundation certification. • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). • Knowledge of IT outsourcing and managed services.
