Sr. Business System Analyst-REMOTE

About the position The Sr. Business System Analyst role at Toppan Merrill LLC is focused on supporting business needs through collaboration with various stakeholders, including Business Management, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Leads. The position involves analyzing business requirements, facilitating technical reviews, and ensuring that software products meet corporate standards. The analyst will also lead and mentor other analysts while working on product development across teams. Responsibilities • Provide consulting regarding practices and methods for defining detailed business requirements. , • Develop and review business requirements that describe business needs and the scope of the solution. , • Document and refine business requirements to a functional requirement level without presuming a technical solution. , • Facilitate Technical Review Sessions to ensure requirements are verifiable and testable. , • Support the execution of the development pipeline and delivery of software products. , • Coordinate development activities within software development with Project and Release Management. , • Operate at a high technical level for identified phases of IT projects. , • Discover applicable technology alternatives to business problems with Product Owners' assistance. , • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and business systems understanding. , • Develop detailed application, product, and/or tool selection evaluation criteria based on product requirements. , • Use comparative analysis techniques to evaluate and recommend IT solutions. , • Provide senior level consulting services on process improvement projects. , • Lead BAs in Requirement Analysis for small to medium projects and mentor less experienced analysts. Requirements • 3+ years of professional IT experience with leadership in technical and business analysis. , • Knowledge of Enterprise Testing, Quality Standards, and software product knowledge (architecture, infrastructure, security, DevOps, etc.). , • SDLC knowledge. , • Experience with software development environment methodologies. , • Experience with XBRL. , • Business and functional requirement knowledge. , • Requirements Analysis, Planning & prioritization execution. , • Requirements Elicitation and facilitation execution. , • Financial Management knowledge. , • Interviewing skills among stakeholders.
