About the position The Assistant Director of Athletics for Internal Operations is a full-time position responsible for overseeing a variety of administrative services within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This role includes managing game day operations, facilities, team travel, and compliance with university and regulatory policies. The position also involves professional development, summer camps, and special events, while assisting the Director of Athletics in the overall administration of the department. Responsibilities • Oversee game day operations and contest management. , • Manage facilities and facility management for home athletics events. , • Oversee team travel arrangements and logistics. , • Work with team apparel contracts and manage related transactions. , • Supervise daily and monthly P-card transactions. , • Facilitate professional and personnel development initiatives. , • Coordinate summer camps and postseason tournament management. , • Manage special events and projects as assigned. , • Ensure compliance with university policies and NCAA regulations. , • Assist the Director of Athletics in overall departmental administration. Requirements • Master's degree in Sports Management, Business, Higher Education, or a related field preferred. , • Experience as an Athletic Administrator or comparable experience preferred.
