About the Program: Our 10-week, full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship program runs through middle of May to middle of August and provides exposure to key areas of our business. We are looking for a Human Resources Intern. Interns will participate in hands-on projects, networking events, community service, and mentorship opportunities while gaining a deeper understanding of the banking industry. As a Human Resources intern, you will work with experienced professionals to support and execute a variety of Human Resources initiatives that help cultivate a positive employee experience and ensure compliance with industry standards. What We Are Looking For: College students who are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, Communications, or a related field >? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills >? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with customers, team members, and management >? Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills >? High degree of initiative and confidence >? Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Essential Job Functions: >? Aid in the processing of payroll transactions through several payroll cycles ensuring accuracy and timeliness. >? Engage in full cycle recruitment including: Posting a position, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, prescreening, scheduling interviews and more. >? Participate in learning and development activities and assist Learning and Development Partner with program coordination. >? Review our learning management system and assist in updating and assigning content for employees. >? Assist Benefits/Leave Administrators in the review and administration of leave and benefits. >? Assist Employee Engagement Partner with orientation and employee experience programs and initiatives. >? Attend meetings to address management and employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts. >? Support in the documentation and procedural aspects of employee separations, ensuring adherence to legal and organizational guidelines. >? Attend and participate in team meetings to understand planning and decision-making processes, gain insights into team dynamics and exposure to various HR functions and organizational processes. >? Attend a continuing education event, branch visit and/or participate in a community service opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility, employee engagement and gain an understanding of HR functions across different settings. >? Collaborate with interns from other departments within the company to share knowledge and attend developmental opportunities to build power skills including communication and problem solving. >? Participate in capstone presentation at conclusion of program, showcasing your learning and contributions to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams. Physical Demands - Must be able to: >?
