Mortgage Area Manager

What The Role Is Under supervision of the Mortgage Loan Regional Manager, the Mortgage Loan Area Manager is responsible for supervising mortgage loan production within a mortgage branch or branches in a specific area. The Area Manager may also produce individual sales production. How You will Make an Impact • Provides direction and leadership to Mortgage Loan Officers to ensure corporate goals of volume, quality and compliance standards are met. • Assists Mortgage Loan Officers with complex or problematic loans. • Monitors and manages branch performance and reports findings to senior management. • Manages staff workflow and monitor pipelines to meet closing dates and/or submission to compliance. • Recruits and mentors Mortgage Loan Officers to increase production and maintain market share. Who You Are • Knowledge of all aspects of mortgage lending with good understanding of all agency, including but not limited to, FHA, VA, FNMA, USDA and portfolio underwriting guidelines. • Be able to meet strict time deadlines and work independently under pressure. • Detailed oriented and able to follow set guidelines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Minimum 5 years mortgage loan experience, and 2 years of management experience. • Works cooperatively with others. • Regular and Reliable attendance.
