About the position The Medicare Advantage Bid Strategy Sr. Advisor role at Cigna Healthcare is focused on supporting the strategic goals and analytics related to Medicare Advantage bids. This position involves project management, technical analysis, and collaboration with various stakeholders to optimize bid outcomes and drive enterprise growth. The advisor will work closely with teams across the organization to ensure alignment and transparency in bid strategies, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the company's Medicare Advantage initiatives. Responsibilities • Supports the evaluation and implementation of strategic initiatives to influence Medicare Advantage annual bids. , • Aids in both near and long-term analytics of Medicare Advantage bids development, improving quality and value to customers while driving desired business outcomes. , • Works in partnership with Actuary, Product, Sales & Marketing, and Market organizations to optimize efficiency and transparency of goals. , • Facilitates communication of annual bid goals between regional leadership, markets, and other business segments to improve responsiveness and decision making. , • Collaborates with the Bid Strategy Director and matrix partners to develop and maintain a strategic plan that supports the organization's vision and long-term strategy. , • Owns and maintains the source of truth for the bid reporting hierarchy. , • Partners with Finance and Actuary to understand and deliver transparency of economic assumptions across the bid cycle. , • Partners with sales and marketing to quantify bid goals supporting the development of sales and marketing strategy. , • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key department stakeholders across teams, functions, and locations. Requirements • Medicare Advantage bid experience is preferred. , • Experience in Teradata, SQL, and Microsoft Excel required. , • Python and Tableau experience is preferred. , • Ability to identify gaps, define reporting needs, and execute on deliverables. , • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with team members and business partners. , • Strong ability to communicate technical analysis to key stakeholders. , • Proven interpersonal skills necessary to facilitate productive discussions. , • Ability to foster collaboration among team members and across teams. , • Proven analytical abilities, especially in decision making and problem solving. , • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity. , • Ability to self-start and work independently, as well as collaboratively.
