Principal Accountabilities

  • Monitor and administer all plant specific and corporate food safety and quality programs per the Cargill Policy Manual (CFSRA) and the Global Food Safety Standards (BRC)
  • Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Obtain finished product and shelf-life samples for testing and perform preoperational inspections and accompany inspectors during inspections, along with performing quality monitoring of product and processes
  • Perform and record monitoring activities, process verifications and audits throughout the facility including raw material audits, documenting deviations and recording corrective actions and may retain or hold non-conforming product of limited or few areas or processing lines
  • Enter limited data in Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory data systems with general direction and guidance
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to understand, read, write, speak in English
  • Basic math skills with use of a calculator/computer
