Business Intelligence Analyst - Austin, TX
Our enterprise-level client in Austin, TX, has an immediate need to add a Business Intelligence Analyst to the team. Please see below for full details-- Job Notes: --3-6+ month contract / extendable and perm possible with good performance. --Onsite in Austin, TX --Drug & Background required. Pay Rate = $39-41 w2 per hour Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate IT service management processes, including Capacity, Availability, Event Management, Knowledge Management, Refresh, and Currency, to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop strategies to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to recommend process improvements.
- Review Data from multiple sources to identify trends for improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement best practices for IT service management to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and IT service management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management processes, including Capacity, Availability, Event Management, Knowledge Management, Refresh, and Currency.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of IT outsourcing and managed services.
