Medical Courier
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting laboratory specimens and documents efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and outstanding customer service abilities. As a Courier, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties
- Drive assigned routes to deliver collections and documents in a timely manner.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with clinical leadership regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize shipments and manage inventory as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any delivery-related concerns.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Experience in route driving, preferably as a courier or delivery driver.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving items.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required.
