How you’ll make an impact

You’ll work in our internal creative team with marketing teams to connect to our customers,

potential customers and partners with great design and concepts. You’ll be a key part of a team that constantly applies fresh thinking and creative solutions to marketing challenges.

What you’ll do

  • Creative – You’ll be generating ideas that are expressed visually and in the experiences we offer people. You’ll be comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to refine ideas and to communicate ideas to others.
  • Craft – You’re versed in creative and digital design techniques. You’ll be crafting campaigns and communications for digital channels, print, and outdoor advertising.
  • Collaborate – We’re a global creative team, so you’ll need to work collaboratively across our Melbourne, London, and Wellington teams. You’ll have a role in maintaining and extending excellent relationships with Xero colleagues throughout the organization.
  • Make us better – Contribute to improving the way we do things around here. Working closely with our senior designers, copywriters and our Creative Leaders to drive Xero’s high creative standards.

    • What you’ll bring with you

  • Proven experience in a design, conceptual or marketing environment (agency of in-house team)
  • Confidence in bringing your ideas to life with Adobe Creative Cloud products (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
  • A knowledge of Figma is a bonus
  • A basic understanding of developing a conceptual creative idea and bringing it to life through design and art direction
  • A great work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to collaborate and excel in a team environment with producers, copywriters, designers, and internal clients
  • A creative, innovative and results focused approach
  • An excellent communicator and problem solver who can take a logical, analytical and user-focused approach
