We are currently in search of a Full-Time Virtual Assistant to provide vital support to our medical teams operating across various locations in Philadelphia. This role is instrumental in enhancing patient care coordination, managing administrative tasks, and facilitating seamless daily operations. Key Responsibilities • Extract vaccine records from Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. • Schedule and monitor pending lab work, immunizations, and referrals. • Assist with Telehealth registration and triage. • Educate patients and prepare them for procedures related to referrals. • Obtain pre-certification authorization codes for diagnostic procedures. • Ensure accurate patient scheduling with internal healthcare providers. • Complete clerical and clinical tasks from EHR task boxes. • Participate in projects aimed at closing care gaps. • Provide backup support for patient-centered representatives when necessary. • Manage paging and telephone systems as needed. • Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner. • Accurately enter and update patient demographic data. • Attend mandatory staff training and development sessions. • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. Required Skills • Proficient typing speed of at least 60 words per minute. • Strong interpersonal abilities with a compassionate and professional demeanor. • Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team setting. • Bilingual skills are advantageous but not obligatory. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED is required. • A minimum of one year of experience in a medical environment is necessary.
