VocoVision is expanding our virtual education services and seeking experienced Sign Language Interpreters to support our growing student community. Join our innovative team providing remote interpretation services to students in an engaging virtual learning environment. Position Overview: Working from your home office, you'll support deaf and hard-of-hearing students in accessing their educational curriculum through professional ASL interpretation. This role combines educational expertise with technical proficiency to create an effective learning experience. Daily Operations: - Virtual interpretation during live class sessions - 32.5-37.5 weekly hours - Regular school-day schedule - Elementary and middle school focus - Small group and one-on-one sessions Essential Functions: - Deliver clear, accurate ASL interpretation - Support student engagement in virtual classrooms - Coordinate with teachers and educational staff - Maintain professional interpreting standards - Document services and student interaction - Participate in educational team meetings - Adapt services to meet individual needs Qualification Requirements: - Minimum 3.5 EIPA score - Two years of K-12 interpreting experience - Demonstrated virtual platform proficiency - Professional home office setup - Strong internet connectivity - Excellence in remote communication Additional Preferred Qualifications: - 4.0 EIPA score - RID/NIC certification - Written EIPA completion - Virtual learning experience - Educational technology expertise If interested, apply here or contact: Alex Gonzalez 470-900-4181 Apply Job!
